aTrackDog tracks the newest version for all Android applications even they are not listed in Android Market. It helps you manage installed apps, download updated versions from Market, and keep them up-to-date.
Background tracking periodically, notification if new versions found, and more features are coming in future releases, keep aTrackDog!
Once you've installed aTrackDog, you'll see a 'dog' icon appeared in Android main screen.
When you first open aTrackDog, aTrackDog will scan your installed applications from the device, and show an application list with installed versions, applications name and applications icon.
After that, please press "Versoin Tracking" Button to start the version tracking.
If it's the first time that you enter the "Version Tracking" screen, there will be a pop-up dialog to notice you that aTrackDog won't send any personal information to the server.
Press "Start Tracking" button. aTrackDog will do its best to track the newest version for applications.
Once the tracking progress is finished, press "Close" botton to go back aTrackDog main screen. Now you will be noticed the application versoins were tracked.
There are some icons may show for an application.
means this application is newly added to the application list, version is not tracked yet.
means this application is up-to-date
means there is a new version released.
means you don't want to track the version for this application.
Some version of applications are known to be buggy, or you just don't want to update to that version.
For those not up-to-date applications, aTrackDog will automatically mark them as "skip this version"
on next version tracking. Of course, aTrackDog is still tracking the versions for them, and will notify you when
the next version comes out. For those "skip this version" applications, aTrackDog shows the smile icon but displays the version number in green.
NOTE: You may not wish to track an in-development application. aTrackDog supports you to do it.
Tap the in-development application, select "Don't track version anymore" option.
